R. Kelly was arrested in June 2002 following his indictment in Chicago on 21 counts of child pornography.

Rick James fell victim to a crack cocaine addiction that led to a conviction for assaulting and holding a woman against her will. James was later arrested in 1991 for torturing and imprisoning a young woman.

After nine hours of deliberation, Mike Tyson was found guilty on one count of rape and two counts of deviate sexual conduct. The counts carried a maximum penalty of 60 years in prison, but Superior Court Judge Patricia Gifford sentenced Tyson to 10 years in prison, suspending four. He served three years.

Tupac Shakur was convicted in December 1994 of the felony sexual abuse of a female fan, spent a few months upstate before being bailed out by producer Suge Knight.

Baseball Hall of Famer Kirby Puckett was arrested for grabbing and forcing a woman into the men’s restroom and then fondled her on Sep 6, 2002. Puckett was charged with false imprisonment and fifth degree criminal sexual conduct, but was acquitted of all charges in April 2003.

NBA superstar Kobe Bryant was arrested in July 2003 for allegedly sexually assaulting a 19-year-old hotel employee.

Michael Jackson was arrested for child molestation in November 2003. The 45-year-old "King of Pop" was released after posting $3 million bail.

Actor Anthony Anderson was arrested in July 2004 for the aggravated rape of a woman who police say was assaulted after being lured into a production trailer on a Memphis movie set. According to the Shelby County Sheriff's Office, Anderson, 33, and Wayne Witherspoon, 42, violated the woman, a movie extra, "with their hands and took pictures of her while she was nude."
