Great $15 concert....homewrecker
So, thanx to summer m. for once again hippin' me to some hot shit; in this case, the music of Canadian artist, Esthero!!! In spite of Ms. Esthero's diva-like behavior on Saturday night in having us wait forever for her ass to perform, the concert was definitely well worth it!
I'm still a newbie to her catalog, so I can't give you her setlist, but if you haven't seen her perform....do so ASAP! I promise you won't be disappointed! Her sound is a bit reminiscent of Pink (first album) with definite rock and hip hop influences. 
Suprisingly, one of the main highlights of the concert was her opening act, Toya Alexis. Some of you might be familiar with her as one of the top ten finalists on Canadian Idol 2003. Ms. Toya Alexis not only opened the show, but she got the crowd hyped. Her vocals were just incredible and her stage presence was superb! The sista could definitely sang!!!!

Toya Alexis is interesting. Did you know she was on another reality pick a band show in Canada previously. They ended up with this group called sugar jones or something like that a bunch of no-hit wonders. Back then Toya went by Latoya I think and she made it to the top 10 but then they dropped her because they said they were looking for more the pop style singers. Then she came back for canaian idol and damn ontario wouldnt vote for homegirl while nova scoia and frigging manitoba and ish were voting along some straight regional lines

by the way... i personally was reminded of gwen stefani a bit. though pink is probably there too.
I thought Esthero was a little Portishead, a little Shirley Manson, a little Gwen, and a little Norah Jones. A lot of different influences, all good.
Oh, and I love the way you roasted her at the end of the post, after lavishing her with all that praise. Subliminal dissing is hot shit. So much slicker than just coming at a bitch outright.
uh...yeah she hooked up with a friend's now ex-man! and yeah jdid, female artists get down like that too!
