Golden Globe Fashionista....

62nd Annual Golden Globe Awards

Say what you want about about her, (I'd likely agree) but don't dare say she ain't the best dressed woman around!

Just take a look at a partial catalog of her award show fashions...

And of course, the fabulous 2002 Oscar gown...

Halle certainly knows how to work with designers to select stunning ensembles!!

True and she got a body to carry it off

She occasionally knows how to act, but always knows how to dress. And in my opinion she's one of the most attractive women on the planet. Speaking from a guy's perspective, Halle is the sort of woman that makes us guys do/say stupid stuff :)

I'm bookmarking this post just for the pictures :)

yep she's got it going on in the dressing department, now if she could only learn to choose roles like she does dresses......

I can't say I've seen her in much, honestly. "Gothika" (which I liked, but I'm in to the psycho-horror type movie, and the more head games the better) and the 007 flick (and I'm a bit of a Bond fan...she did a good job there, too, kept 007 on his toes)

I watched part of the one she was in with Billy Bob Thornton, didn't think much of it (the story seemed really "ho hum", and the acting was crap). That I don't even remember the name says volumes about how much I liked it.

"Catwoman"...I didn't even bother. Looked like a hacker from the trailer on.

But I'll sure watch her on the red carpet :)

Seems really good acting is none too common these days. Not to "geek out", but the last movies I saw with really high-quality acting were the "Lord of the Rings" movies. Viggo Mortenson, Ian McKellen, Ian Holm, and Christopher Lee were amazing...it's criminal in my mind that these actors weren't even nominated for Oscars for their roles, especially Mortenson and McKellen (if anyone could have better portrayed Gandalf, or Aragorn for that matter, I'd be hard pressed to say who it could have been).

I've been getting into old movies lately...if you really want to see good acting, watch "Run Silent, Run Deep", and see Burt Lancaster and Clark Gable show 'em how it's done. Or "The Enemy Below", with Robert Mitchum and Curt Jurgens.

Nahmix is mad at me 'cause I dissed Halle's Golden Globes dress, but I stand by that shit. Sorry, sweetie. Out of all the photos you posted, that one is the worst. It's a misstep. And that's cool, 'cause even star pitchers have off days. I just think that she got a little too avant garde, that's all. She's still beautiful. Can't take that away. But that dress was ill-fitting and awkwardly cut. That bodice... Looked like gauze bandaging.
