This might explain the delay, or not...
So rumors have been flying since July that Columbia is refusing to release Lauryn's third album, fearing that it won't sell. I don't know if it's true or not, but a group of Lauryn fans seem to think so and have put together a petition in support of it's release.

If it is true, all I have to say is shame on Columbia. I've seen their roster of artists, I'm sure they aren't new to poorly selling albums!

I wonder if Columbia is just using this as a marketing tactic.
